    BIRTHDAY...

    It may sound funny, but I don't seem to pay attention to the way time passes lately.
    It's hard to believe that I'm 25 all of a sudden... :confused:
    Am I actually here for a quarter of a century??? It sounds so old!!
    Do I already sound like an old lady? ;)

    Anyway, I had my 25th Birthday yesterday, and my mom decided to spoil me with some gorgeous cakes. Here's some for you- :cake:

    The big present I planned to buy this year is a new digital Canon camera, though I'm not sure yet which one. I guess it's going to be Canon EOS 450D :D What do you think?
    My family already made some "donations" to help me, so I hope to shoot with the new camera during the next vacation in about three weeks! :w00t:

    I want to thank you all for ALL the kind words, comments, favs and features, you have no idea how much your support means to me!! :glomp:
    Please, don't be offended if I don't answer your comments or if I answer in delay. I have a hard and busy semester, since I have to finish my master's degree practical work in the lab, to finish my courses and also to tutor two groups of students in a lab... It doesn't leave much spare time :no:
    I'll do my best to answer the latest comments as soon as I can!

    Spring Fever Continues

    I finally had some time to wander around DA and to pay attention to the clubs in which I am a member. It was very sad to discover that not less than 4 clubs were closed in the last 2 or 3 months, some of them without any explanation...
    I understand very well that handling a club here is a very hard work and it demands a lot of time and dedication, and I truly respect and appreciate the admins' hard work very much. Nevertheless, I cannot understand why so many admins/founders/owners decide to close their club when they have no time for it. It is sad to discover that some clubs that were here for as long as I know DA, were popular and had hundreds of members are closed now all of a sudden :(

    I hope there will be some new nature and landscapes clubs in DA soon... If you know about a new club, please let me know.

    I also add here a new and fresh group of Spring Fever features that inspired me.
    Hope you will enjoy them as much as I, and give them some attention, because IMO some of them are underestimated or unknown!

    Just wanted to welcome the Spring that is finally here.
    This is my favorite season, full of colors, flowers, blossoms, warm sunlight and green everywhere... It makes me want to get out with my camera and run, walk, crawl all around the blooming fields, to smell and to touch and to take LOOOOOTS of photographs, of course.

    I'm sick at home, so I finally have some time to answer to all your wonderful comments and favs!
    I look like Santa, huge red nose and a long red robe and a heavy walk :giggle:
    I only miss the beard... Luckily! :D

    After spending a whole day in front of the computer I can proudly announce that I have only 26 messages :w00t:
    (I had more than 500... :confused: )!

    Sorry it took so much time, but I'm busy at the uni with all kinds of assignments, lectures and papers and also with my Masters research... Hope to finish it in less than a year! :please:

    As a part of the contest arranged by the two clubs I'm honored to feature the work of some wonderful artists, members of those clubs
    (one or both of them).
